1. Sonax 314300-755 Car Wash Shampoo Concentrate
Sonax Car Wash Shampoo Concentrate is a highly effective, phosphate-free, biodegradable formula that penetrates and loosens tough dirt and grime without damaging or stripping protective wax and sealant layers.
PH balanced, this formula will not leave residues on surfaces. It is also formulated without CFCs, 1,4 Dioxane, DBP, Phthalates, Parabens, PEGs, or artificial fragrances.
Sonax Wash Shampoo is a concentrated car shampoo for periodic washing. As it is a concentrated car shampoo, it is more economical to use and gets the job done faster; the only downside is that you need to use more per wash.
It is formulated with biodegradable ingredients and holds up to the toughest stains, including ones brought on by food, beverages, and cosmetics. It removes dirt and grime from all interior and exterior surfaces and removes bird droppings, insects, and tar. The formula is also great for deep cleaning the rest of your car, and it comes with a 16-ounce bottle with a trigger sprayer.
When we first tried the shampoo, we were a little concerned about the smell. The smell is strong, so if you are allergic to citrus, it may be hard for you to tolerate the smell. However, after washing our test vehicle with the product, we had no problem. The smell goes away right after washing, so you don’t have to worry about the smell lingering in your car.
- Pretty decent car wash shampoo.
- It doesn’t suds quite as well as the armorial or turtle wax brand.
- Smells similar to orange antibacterial hand soap.
- Cleans extremely well
- Does not make too much foam!
Sonax 314300-755 Car Wash Shampoo Concentrate Facts
Compatiblility with turtle waxes, ice? jet black?
This is a shampoo, not a wax. Great shampoo. This brand is top notch.
What is the size of the bottle? 1 litre, 16oz, 500ml?
It is a one-liter bottle.
How much to use in a foam cannon and see best results?
Don’t use foam cannon. Only Use for Decent wash
How many ounces per gallon of water are needed?
I use a cap full for 1/2 of a 5-gallon bucket. So, 1 cap for 2.5 gallons.
How well does this product work in a foam cannon? does it produce lots of suds?
Have not used it on a foam gun but is a great shampoo
Is this the same as “sonax gloss shampoo”? or is it a different formula
NO. It does not contain any gloss enhancers. It’s a “pure” shampoo.
Can this shampoo be also used in a foam cannon? would it produce the necessary suds for initial dirt loosening?
Haven’t tried it. However, I can tell you that it does sum up very well.
How many ounces is one cap full equal to?

Sonax Car Wash Shampoo Reviews from Amazon
Another great Sonax product
If you love your car Don’t use anything else but Sonax products
Pretty decent car wash shampoo – I found it doesn’t suds quite as well as the armorial or turtle wax brand. It is also unscented – which may be a good thing for you depending. I’d never heard of the brand and thought I would give it a try. Doesn’t seem to be worth the extra money.
The media could not be loaded. Smells similar to orange antibacterial hand soap, cleans extremely well, and once it cures it leaves a solid glassy shine. The sudsing action didn’t stretch as long as I would have liked, but then again sudsing doesn’t determine how well the soap performs. Could have been that I only used one cap full when they recommend using two. Because of its quality, it is now my new primary car wash soap.
Did exactly what I wanted it to do.
Great product and a great price. Buy this for cleaning your car. You will like this product.
Nice wash for the price! Not super concentrated but doesn’t require much in the first place.
The best auto shampoo on the market!
Produces lots of suds
I think I’m cutting back on the recommended amount of solution to use because it is a very good product to wash your car. It produces a lot of long-lasting suds. I’ve started using the 2-bucket method which works really well.
Compared to Meguiar’s Gold Class
Decided to try the Sonax car wash product as I am currently using the Sonax Polymer Net Shield wax.
1. Usage: Not much difference when compared to Meguiar’s. However, I did notice suds lasted longer with Sonax vs. Meguiar’s. I did not see any noticeable difference in cleaning power.
2. Results: The shine is superior to Meguiars. But it’s hard to confirm as the shine could have been left over from Sonax wax (applied several months ago). Did not strip away the previously applied Sonax wax.
3. Recommendation: If you have a bottle of Meguiar’s, recommend finishing it before buying the Sonax.
The Best You Can Buy!
Does a great job without affecting your wax! Used by all the high-end German car companies! I’ve been using this product for several years and Meguiar’s lost a very good customer! Everyone that tries it loves it! If you take pride in your ride this is for you!!
2. CARPRO Reset – Intensive Car Shampoo Wash
CARPRO Reset is an indulgent shampoo wash that deeply cleans and nourishes your car, leaving a clean, fresh, satin finish. It contains premium ingredients like coconut water, coconut oil, and shea butter.
It uses a gentle pH of 5 and 5.4 for an unscented wash that is kind to your car’s paint job. It’s a soap-free formula that removes road grime, grease, and stains with no water required, just from the foam. This shampoo is non-ammoniated, so it won’t harm your paint if rinsed off. We tested this shampoo wash on a 2014 Mercedes-Benz Class C Motorhome.
- It rinses off really good and leaves a nice shine
- It glides over your vehicle and maintains sudds from a small amount
- It Works exceptionally well with a ceramic-coated vehicle and leaves the paint silky.
- Only need to use small amounts
CARPRO Reset – Intensive Car Shampoo Wash Facts
Can this be used in the detergent tank of my pressure washer. Should I dilute it and at what ratio?
Yes, the dilution ratio is 1:500 (yes that’s correct, this stuff is very concentrated and works great)
Do you use this with every wash?
I purchased this product because I have a Ceramic coating applied to my vehicle. This product was recommended by the Detailing Shop which applied the Ceramic coating as a wash that would not harm the Ceramic coating. So, Yes – I plan on using it each time with a car wash foam gun.
Could i use this as a first step wash, before applying my claybar, ceramic coat, etc?
This is a PH Neutral shampoo for the coated vehicles. I would use chemical guys’ clean slate to strip any wax on the vehicle before any ceramic coating and you can also use it as a lubricant for the clay bar.
Haven’t purchased yet but plan on using a foam gun for application. How long do you let it sit before washing off?
Using a foam gun, remember this soap is very highly concentrated, use 2 or 3 capfuls in the gun. This soap is a very mild ph soap, extremely for vehicles that have been ceramic treated.
It does not remove road grim, or heavy soiled debris. I use it on my Ram dually (ceramic-treated polish, by an expert).

Does it have a scent?
Can you use this for none coated car?
Yes, but that would be a waste of money. The Reset soap is a non-detergent, ph balanced soap, to prevent stripping the clear coat off.
So, if your car has deep soiled dirt on the surface, this soap will not remove the harsh soiled surfaces. But, if you keep your car/truck clean, not baking in sun, and covered or garaged.

Can this be used to clean a graphene coated vehicle?
Yes, you can even on ceramic coating, it’s pure and doesn’t have other additives in it.
Is this specific to Car Pros ceramic coating or most ceramic coatings?
Any car, any coating. This is a car wash shampoo and the bottle lasts a long time with 500:1 dilution.
Why is it cheaper from Autogeek than the manufacturer?
Hmm. Maybe they get a discount for buying in bulk
Does this come with the new redesigned CarPro label?
It comes exactly how it looks in the picture
Why would you use this over something like Adams shampoo or griot boss foaming wash which also won’t damage ceramic coat, topcoat, or remove wax?
Griots are garbage. The slickness of this product coupled with the foaming you get out Of a decent foam cannon like the MTM is incredible.
Can this be used with an aerator?
I use it in my foam cannon, and it works great.
Using with a foam cannon, how much do you mix with 32oz of water?
I’ve only used it once. I followed the direction on the bottle at 1:500 and the foam was way too runny. I have since read somewhere that you should use 1 ounce in the 32-ounce bottle. Haven’t tried it though. Good luck.
Is this ok to use with Ultima paint guard plus polymer sealant?
Yes, this product is just an alkalinity neutralizer for the water used in vehicle washing. This shampoo is mild, nonabrasive liquid to not penetrate the ceramic application process or any paint coating…completely safe.
Would this be a good pairing if i use turtlewax ceramic hybrid sealant spray?
No, turtle wax Ceramic is not a “Real Ceramic” sealer. It’s wax! Ceramic sealer is just what it is, a sealer! That’s why it’s so expensive. Car Pro wash is PH balanced, and softens tap water, so harsh chemicals within the water are neutralized, to protect the ceramic seal.

CARPRO P-Neutral Shampoo Reviews from Amazon
Really good product
Since I have soft water, it rinses off really good and leaves a nice shine I use the reload after to get that showroom shine as you can see. You dint need that much it goes a long way.
I’ve used a lot of car soaps, and this is definitely up there as one of my favorites. The dilution ratio says 500:1 however for my 5-gallon bucket I added just 2 full caps and it provided more than enough cleaning power and lubrication for most car washing needs. As for the foaming capabilities for those of use that use foam cannons, I added just enough to cover the bottom on my cannon and the rest water, and it foamed like any other soap I’ve used before.
At the end of the day, this soap will last a while even for every weekend wash retailer out there and even longer for those who wash their cars once/twice a month.
The scent is clean smelling without being over the top which is always nice. I will be purchasing again when I run out.
The perfect shampoo for ceramic protection!
The money and effort you put in to have a ceramic-coated vehicle needs two important helpers. A Ph-balanced non-detergent shampoo and a sealant topper. Carpro Reset is exceptional. You can tell the moment you start washing. It glides over your vehicle and maintains sudds from a small amount. It’s not cheap but it goes a long way and will help your ceramic coating shine and last. Highly recommend!!
Love this Carwash Soap
This is my go-to Carwash Soap. It’s super slick! It works exceptionally well with a ceramic-coated vehicle and leaves the paint silky.
IT WORKS GREAT BUT ITS PRICE
This produces great shaving cream-level foam, work,s and smells good, but for the price per ounce, it won’t be my go-to.
recomendado buen produto
buen chanpu par labar tu caro cuando esta en serado o le echastes protesion para la pintura
Good product, horrible shipping
Love the product but not the shipping and handling. I was disappointed that it arrived damaged. As you can see, there was no other packing material including in the box. Luckily, there was plastic wrapped around the bottle, so it did not leak too badly.
Very good product
very good product for the money
3. Adam’s Car Wash Shampoo
Adam’s Car Wash Shampoo is a premium car wash shampoo that removes dirt and grime from your vehicle’s paint. The use of car wash shampoo is proven to greatly extend the life of your paint.
At Adams Car Wash in Los Angeles, you’d expect to see hundreds of people trying to get one ride on the giant car wash. But the line rarely extends beyond five cars. That’s because every person inside that car wash is lathering up with Adams Car Wash Shampoo.
The 6-ounce bottle is easy to carry, and it delivers a great lather. All Adams Car Wash Shampoo ingredients are biodegradable, and it’s free from phosphates and sulfates, which many people think are bad for the planet.
We used Adams Car Wash Shampoo on regular grime and washboard roads, and the results were astounding. The shampoo made the car shine, and it made the dirt wipe off easily, too. We even tried applying it to our car by hand, and it worked just as well. What makes Adams Car Wash Shampoo great is that it lathers up easily, which means you get more from that ounce of shampoo.

- Smells good.

- The bottle is kind of small for the price.

Yes, it is! Biodegradable and pH neutral. Thanks!
What makes this twice the price as any other ph neutral soap?
I USE IT IN A FOAM CANNON. 3 OZ. PER QUART. IT LASTS FOREVER AND IS A GREAT PRODUCT. WILL NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE ON MY CAR. BUY IT YOU WON’T REGRET IT. WELL WORTH THE PRICE
I removed the black cap from the gallon and noticed red cap that was inserted in the mouth of the gallon (prevent spills?) Is it normal?
Yes, I usually just throw away the red cap after I open it.
Hi, currently using adams car shampoo and sonax (243400) spray and seal, do you have a better product or way for this full protection?
We would recommend using Adam’s Graphene CS3 which is a very versatile product that can be used as a spray and wipe, drying aid, or waterless wash.
We believe this will outperform because of the Graphene Oxide technology. If you wanted an apples-to-apples product we would recommend Adam’s H2O Guard & Gloss which, has We would recommend using Adam’s Graphene CS3 which is a very versatile product that can be used as a spray and wipe, drying aid, or waterless wash. My car has polycoat ceramic and xpel paint pro wrap. can this be used with out harm?
This shampoo will not cause any harm or strip any waxes, sealants, coatings etc. it is pH neutral and also suspends the minerals in water to prevent water spots. Hope that helps!
Im told recently (less than a year i think) the product was changed and many arent as happy as with the old product. Has this been fixed?
Yes it has
Does this product contain phosphates? If so, I cannot allow it to go down my driveway and into the storm sewer, which leads to our river and lakes.
From what I’ve read on the ingredients from Adams I don’t see at phosphates in there.

2 to 3 ounces is recommended. Thanks!
